Illinois State Senator Threatens Gun Confiscation
Julie Morrison a Democrat Senator in Illinois threatened a gun owner with confiscation
A video recorded by the Illinois State Rifle Association caught the event on camera. At a town hall meeting, a gun owner referenced SB107 and stated its purpose as “to take away [his] semiautomatic firearms.”
Morrison replied that the purpose was not to take them but to prevent any future sales.
The concerned gun owner responded by saying that the ban on future sales included a fine for current owners who did not hand their guns over. He said, “You want me to turn them over to the state police unless I pay a fine for each firearm and register them, then I get to keep them.”
The gun owner then asked, “If I get to keep it–if I pay a fine and register it–then, how dangerous is it in the first place and why do you need to ban it all?”
The people attending the town hall applauded the gun owner’s point and once the applause stopped Morrison then said, “Well, you just maybe changed my mind. Maybe we won’t have a fine at all, maybe it’ll just be a confiscation and we won’t have to worry about paying the fine.”
After Senator Morrison’s statement, another group of people attending the town hall gave applause.

While I agree with Bob’s statement, I don’t advise anyone attempting to take firearms away from anyone. Not only for their own good & their safety, but everyone’s. You’re not taking our guns. Period. The left will never take hard-working, tax-paying American’s guns. At least, not without massive repercussions… People have to see that, right? This isn’t CoD people… There is NO respawning, think about that, I mean really think about it. Focus.
Unfortunately, they would dare. Cause you are alone and the law wont be at your side any more. One agent knocks the door, saying “Please, mister, can i have some water?”. Second agent tazes you or even shoots you from the safe distance. And there is nothing you can do about it.
You want my guns, you get the bullets first. There will be blood in the streets before you take my weapons, may be mine but you WILL bury many an agent before I go.
