What are the best Kriss Vector upgrades and accessories? This article will cover exactly that. Kriss Vectors are great firearms and are known for their futuristic look and innovative design.
There are a lot of different aftermarket parts that you can add to the Kriss Vector
By adding the best Kriss Vector upgrades and accessories you can unlock the full potential of the firearm and increase its usability and effectiveness.
This article will cover the best Kriss Vector upgrades and accessories that will increase the performance of the gun.
What Is a Kriss Vector?
The Kriss Vector is a sub-machine gun chambered in 45 ACP. It was designed in 2007 by TDI.
The Vector uses an articulated mechanism referred to as the “Kriss Super V”, which allows the bolt and an inertia block to move downward into a recess behind the magazine well.
The theory is that at the end of this travel, the energy is transmitted downward rather than rearward, thus reducing the felt recoil. This design also has an extremely high rate of fire of 1,500 rounds per minute.
These guns were also built to accept standard Glock 21 magazines which aid in the modularity of the firearm. This was intended to help become purchase the Kriss Vector because of the magazine’s capability.
The standard Kriss Vector had a short barrel at 5.5″ and now they have the Gen II CRB version which is intended to make the gun more accessible to the civilian market.
The CRB has a 16″ barrel that makes it a legal option to have a stock on the gun. This version is a good option and is less of a headache than trying to convert it to a short barrel rifle (SBR).
The civilian version of the Kriss Vector is limited to semi-automatic and not full-auto.
Where To Purchase a Kriss Vector?
The Kriss Vector is still very popular and can easily be found online for a fair price. Most traditional and local gun stores might not have a Kriss Vector on their rack and ordering online is the best option.
When picking one out I recommend getting the Gen II CRB version because then you won’t have to worry about breaking any short barrel rifle laws.
Unfortunately, the short barrel pistol version is awesome, but then you will not be able to add a stock or a vertical foregrip. Many people will use an arm brace and an angled foregrip as an alternative.
Also, these guns are great when they are suppressed. Only a handful of states will even allow this and the same with SBRs.
This will also greatly determine which version of the Kriss Vector is viable for you. Always make sure to check your federal, state, and local laws because this is your responsibility and the laws are constantly changing.

Kriss Vector Stock Upgrade
One of the first things you can do to improve your Kriss Vector is to add an upgraded stock. If you have the pistol version you can add a arm brace.
One that is fully adjustable and foldable is the best option.
Kriss Vector Folding Stock Adapter Gen 2
The Kriss Vector Folding Stock Adapter is a great part to add to any variation of the Kriss Vector.
Even if you already have a stock, adding this part will give you the option to fold it and make the firearm more compact.
This is an easy upgrade and easy to install. It will allow you to attach a wide variety of stocks and arm braces to your Kriss Vector.
The fit and finish are perfect and the folding operation works flawlessly. This is a small touch to your gun but will give you a lot more capability and customization.

Dead Foot Arms G-Rex Telescoping Tailhook Brace
The best brace for the Kriss Vector is the Dead Foot Arms G-Rex Tailhook Brace.
This brace works great on all bufferless firearms and pistols. It looks great and is very comfortable compared to similar braces.
This is a 5 position, button-free, quick deploy brace to allow you to put your weapon into action faster than ever.
The ideal brace for home defense and close quarters operations. This also allows you to have more support on your pistol version of the Kriss Vector and it pairs up perfectly with the folding adapter.

Kriss-TDI Vector Folding Stock Assembly Kit
If you own the Kriss Vector CRB version and want to give your gun the traditional look and feel, then you need the Kriss-TDI Vector Folding Stock Assembly Kit.
This Kriss Vector Folding Stock Assembly Kit Pre-2017 Gen I or Gen II to help stabilize your shots and mitigate recoil for improved aim at any distance.
These reduce the overall length by approximately 9.5in when folded, allowing you to easily store and transport your firearm when not in use.
The KRISS Vector Folding Stock Attachment is compatible with GEN I and GEN II KRISS Vector bodies, and this redesigned model has a metal sling loop right below the body.

Kriss Vector Trigger Upgrade
Upgrading the Kriss Vector trigger is something that most people will do right away. The standard factory trigger isn’t awful but does come with a lot of slack and take-up.
The easiest way to fix this issue is to order a new trigger screw set and adjust the trigger screw. Another option is to get a binary trigger kit that will allow you to shoot very fast.
One of these options is very inexpensive and cheap, the other will cost a lot.
Kriss Vector Farrowtech Trigger Modification Kit
The easiest and most inexpensive way to upgrade the Kriss Vector trigger is to get the Farrowtech Trigger Modification Kit.
This kit has a shortened screw that you can replace the old one with. You will still have to adjust the trigger screw to your own liking. It will eliminate all of the take-up and pre-travel of the trigger pull.
Here is a good Install Video that will go over everything and even how to adjust it.
This will only work on Gen 2 versions of the Kriss Vector.

Kriss Vector Double Tap Trigger pack
If you want a binary trigger and want to shoot fast then you need the Kriss Vector Double Tap Trigger Pack.
The Double Tap Trigger allows the shooter to fire a round when the trigger is pulled and released. Unlike a factory trigger that only fires when the trigger is pulled.
This trigger is a pull and release trigger only.
If you have not gotten a binary trigger for any of your firearms then now might be a good time to pick one up. Anti-gunners hate these and are actively trying to ban them.

Kriss Vector Optic Upgrade – Red Dots
The perfect setup for a 45 ACP pistol / sub-gun like the Kriss Vector is a red dot with a magnifier. This is the best of both worlds as you can quickly engage targets with a 1x red dot.
Adding a magnifier to your red dot will give you the benefits of increased range. Having one that can be flipped in front of your red dot quickly is ideal.
Trijicon MRO HD Combo Set
One of the best red dots and magnifiers on the market is the Trijicon MRO HD Combo Set.
The Trijicon Miniature Rifle Optic (MRO) is a reflex-style, sealed sight intended for use on rifles, carbines, and shotguns to provide fast target acquisition.
It is designed to be used with both eyes open, providing the operator with maximum situational awareness.
The large aperture and tapered light path maximize the viewing area in such a small optic, allowing for fast target engagement, especially from non-standard shooting positions.
It also features ambidextrous brightness controls, sub-flush adjusters, advanced lens coatings, and a fully sealed, waterproof, hard anodized forged 7075-T6 housing, making the MRO the ultimate mini reflex sight.
The MRO HD is optimized for use with a magnifier, with a re-engineered objective lens to produce a refined 2.0 MOA center dot surrounded by a 68 MOA segmented circle reticle.
The ambidextrous reticle and brightness control allows the user to choose between a full reticle or a center dot only.
You can also purchase just the Trijicon MRO HD without the magnifier. You do save some money buying the combo set compared to purchasing them both separately.

Kriss Vector Handguard Upgrade
To add more functionality and usability you will need to add a handguard to the Kriss Vector.
Let’s face the truth also, functionality is very important but so are looks, and adding a handguard will completely transform the look of the Kriss Vector.
This is easier to do with the rifle version of the Kriss Vector compared to the pistol version because the handguard will extend past the muzzle which you do not want.
Kriss Vector Modular Rail Mk1
The best handguard for the Kriss Vector is the Kriss Vector Modular Rail Mk1. Looks good, practical, and nice for hand placement and accessories.
This handguard gives you the option to add 1913 Picatinny rail sections and add any accessories you need.
It is well made and very durable. It will complete the overall look and feel of the Kriss Vector. Mounting this was quick and easy.
This comes with one additional 7-slot Picatinny rail section that you can either mount to the left or right side.

Kriss Vector Weapon Light
Adding a weapon light is a must-have for any serious firearm setup, especially if you plan on using your Kriss Vector as a home-defense weapon.
You cannot shoot what you cannot see. Adding a weapon light is really quick and easy.
Cloud Defensive OWL LED Weaponlight
The best light for the Kriss Vector is the Cloud Defensive OWL. What I like most about this light is that it is a complete all-in-one setup.
For many weapon lights, you will have to purchase a pressure switch, mount, and pressure switch mount all separately.
That is not the case with the Cloud Defensive OWL. It’s easy to use and once you mount it to your gun it’s ready to go.
This light is very bright and reliable. Most of the time the simpler something is the better.

Kriss Vector Sling Upgrade
No setup is finished without a proper sling. A lot of people are different when it comes to slings and what they prefer.
I always recommend a good two-point sling that can be quickly adjusted. However, on shorter firearms like the Kriss Vector, a solid single-point sling is better.
Magpul MS3 Single QD GEN 2
The best sling setup for the Kriss Vector is the Magpul MS3 Sling. This is a convertible-style sling that can be transitioned from a single-point to a two-point sling.
This has a QD swivel attachment and a slider so you can adjust the slack of the sling on the fly.
It is well made and a good quality sling. If you do not yet have a solid sling then now is the time to pick one up.

Kriss Vector Magazines
One thing that you need to stock up on is extra Kriss Vector Magazines. The great thing about the Kriss Vector is that it takes Glock 21 mags and the extended ones as well.
As a good rule of thumb, I like to have a standard combat loadout of 7 magazines for every gun that I own at a minimum.

Kriss Vector 45 ACP Ammo
The final thing you will need is a lot of 45 ACP Ammo. Ammunition of all calibers is becoming harder to find and more expensive.
This is the sad truth, and hopefully, you have been stockpiling ammo for every gun you own.
I recommend having at least 1000 rounds of every caliber of firearm you have at a bare minimum.

I have a beautiful Alpine/ Camo 9 mm. I bought the shroud for it but I’m told I may have to get a longer barrel to install it. It only comes with a bottom screw and doesn’t sit tight or straight on the barrel. Advise? Thank you!
