So what in the world is First World Crusader?
It is a website dedicated to guns, gear, optics, and everything related to firearms.
First World Crusader is a cool place to learn and get reports on the latest firearm and gear news.
People often ask me the meaning behind the name First World Crusader and how I came up with it. I tell them I don’t know, but it sounded awesome, so I ran with it.
I created this blog originally as a way to discuss the various guns and gear I was trying out. I wanted a way to share what I was learning.
Our team shares a passion for firearms and comes from an educated background involving military and law enforcement.
We enjoy sharing our passion with others. We have a love of Second Amendment rights, and want to reach out to both those with a lot of experience and those just starting out.
The more people start exercising their rights, the better.
We are here to help with any questions they may have.
We have articles covering every topic in the industry.
Some of the articles are geared toward total beginners, while others are reviews designed for experienced gun owners.

Most of the products we test and review are personally owned and purchased with our money. Sometimes we are sent products, yet reject about 95% of them.
We want to give honest, objective and unbiased reviews. If we are sent an item for free and end up creating a post on it, we disclose this information to our audience.

We have a long history of reviewing guns, shooting equipment, and more. Our team has been embedded in the firearms industry before this website was created.
We have years of experience evaluating products, and we’re now bringing that expertise to online reviews.
Our editors are experienced outdoorsmen and women, and most importantly, were real people with real opinions.
None of this website’s articles or product reviews are written by AI. We prioritize field testing and objective data when reviewing products.
We help our readers understand which products are worth purchasing and which ones you need to pass on.
Advertising does not influence our gear reviews, and neither do sponsorships. We rarely accept sponsorships and will always disclose that information in a post.
While we try to review as many products as possible, we are limited in what we can test and purchase.
We borrow many products to test, but we are lucky enough to have an FFL to get more guns than the average website. We are part of an active gun range community in our area, allowing us to borrow products for review and testing.
What We Test
Our main focus is constantly testing rifles, handguns, shotguns, optics, and many accessories commonly found on these firearms. We strive to have the newest and most popular products our readers are interested in.
I wish we could review every firearms-related product, but this is impossible due to time restraints, manpower, and funds. Help us grow to achieve this goal!
We are also passionate about the classic “tried and true” guns and gear, so we will sometimes cover these products.
How We Test and Review Product
Everything we write about and test has been used by someone on our team. First hand experience and knowledge are a must for us to do an in-depth review and allow us to decide whether to make a recommendation or not.
If it is a gun we are reviewing, we shoot it enough to give an honest review. If it is a service we are reviewing, we have used it and learned enough to give the reader a run down.
We do not “torture test” our products or intentionally try and break them, but we want to have real world experience on how durable products are and what the average user will use them for and treat them.
