Best Glock Barrels
Looking to spice up your Glock? Adding a new aftermarket barrel is a good place to start, and you want to ensure you get one of the best Glock barrels out there.
Building or customizing Glock pistols is a hobby in itself. With so many options and choices flooding the market, it can be hard to decide on what is the best Glock barrel.
All of the barrels mentioned below are made for all different Glock models. Just make sure you buy the appropriate one for your specific Glock.
In this post, I will go over the best Glock barrels.
Why Get A Different Barrel?
There are two main reasons you might want to get a different aftermarket barrel for your Glock. If you want to add a suppressor, you will need a threaded barrel, and if you want to improve the accuracy.
Threaded Barrel
If you want to add a suppressor or plan on adding one in the future, you will need a barrel with threads to accept a suppressor.
Even if you don’t want to add a suppressor, I recommend getting a threaded barrel now because you may want to in the future. Currently, suppressors are considered NFA items, but that may change.
If you want to future-proof your Glock and don’t want to constantly be buying and changing parts, then getting a threaded barrel is a good idea. They also look better on a pistol, in my opinion.
Increased Accuracy
Improving the accuracy of your Glock is the other reason to get an aftermarket Glock barrel. A good match-grade aftermarket barrel will increase the performance of the gun.
The great thing about changing Glock OEM barrels is that it is simple. You only have to remove the standard Glock OEM barrel and drop in a new premium barrel. Field stripping the gun is as far as you go during the breakdown.
Polygonal rifling is a good start, but with a match-grade barrel, you can improve the accuracy, which is quite noticeable and consistent.

Best Glock Barrel FAQ
Who makes the best Glock Barrel?
That is hard to say, and everyone will have a different opinion. I have been using the TRYBE barrels in all of my Glock builds.
Are aftermarket Glock Barrels better?
The two biggest reasons to replace your factory barrel with an aftermarket Glock Barrel are better accuracy and a threaded barrel.
Are Glock barrels accurate?
Stock Glock barrels use Polygonal rifling. Polygonal rifling works by squeezing the bullet instead of cutting into it like traditional rifling, and this style of rifling is accurate. Aftermarket Glock barrel manufacturers have increased the accuracy and allow you to shoot lead ammo in most cases.
Does Glock make factory threaded barrels?
Glock does now offer factory threaded barrels from the Glock store. Even some models are sold with a threaded barrel.
